What does the KCB Guild do?

We meet six times during the year to conduct our Guild’s business—typically in the mornings of the 2nd Thursday of Sept, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb and April.

We learn more about the art of Ballet at our meetings. 
We have special presentations from guest choreographers, KCB dancers and KCB staff.  They inform us about behind the scenes details of upcoming performances—from music to costuming and staging.  We also attend an exclusive working rehearsal of KCB to see the dancers prepare for an opening night.

We socialize by enjoying three fabulous Luncheons in September, December and May.

We raise money to support the Kansas City Ballet.
We present a not-to-be missed annual Ballet Ball, one of the spring season’s premiere social events.  Please mark your calendar for this year’s Ballet Ball: Saturday, March 6th 2010 at the Muehlebach Hotel.  We also organize and run a Gift Boutique, selling delightful Ballet related items during KCB performances.
