What does the KCB Guild do?

We MEET six times during the year to conduct our Guild’s business.
(Meetings are in the morning, typically the 2nd Thursday of Sep, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, and Apr)

We LEARN more about ballet at our meetings – with special speakers such as guest choreographers, KCB artists, and KCB staff, as well as an exclusive working rehearsal of Kansas City Ballet.

We SOCIALIZE, via:

• Three fabulous Luncheons in September, December, and Ma
• Special Events – last year’s included: A private brunch at Halls on the Plaza, featuring Jim O’Leary, designer of Waterford’s new Ballet line, meeting national ballet celebrity Jacques d’Amboise at our Nutcracker Luncheon, and enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres in the Benefactor Room during KCB repertory performances

We RAISE MONEY for Kansas City Ballet ($390,000 in 2006-07!) via:

• Our “not-to-be-missed” annual Ballet Ball. (Please Save-the-Date: Ballet Ball 2008 is Saturday, March 1st, at the Intercontinental Hotel on the Plaza!)
• Our Gift Boutique, selling “must-have” items during KCB performance
• Annual Membership Dues
• “One-of-a-kind” Events
