The 43rd Annual Ballet Ball will celebrate the fascinating rhythm of dance with a Gershwin inspired evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing at the historic Marriott Muehlebach Hotel on March 6. Patrons will be swept back to the Jazz Age as they enjoy Kansas City Ballet dancers performing an excerpt of Todd Bolender’s Celebration – a prelude to the May 6-9 Kansas City premiere of George Balanchine’s ode to Gershwin, Who Cares?. The night will also feature performer Angela Hagenbach and music by The KC All Stars.
Chaired by Melinda Petet with Honorary Chairs Carl Schramm and Ellyn Brown, we know you will not want to miss this event - an annual highlight in the city! Proceeds benefit both the Kansas City Ballet and Kansas City Ballet School.
Since its founding
in 1961, the Kansas City Ballet Guild has raised more than $4.6 million
through the Ballet Ball to support the art of dance.
