Kansas City Ballet celebrated the future of dance on February 28, 2009!

Last year, the Kansas City Ballet celebrated an illustrious 50th anniversary. Moving into the next 50 years, the celebration continued with a SOLD-OUT event, the 42nd Annual Ballet Ball on February 28, 2009.

This exceptional event is a long-standing tradition in the community and was once again held at the InterContinental Hotel on the Plaza. The Kanas City Ballet Guild chose Ms. Lauren Muriel-Marion LaPointe as Chairman for the Ballet Ball 2009. Mr. A Joseph and Jeanne Brandmeyer headlined the Ball as Honorary Chairmen.

Since its founding in 1961, the Kansas City Ballet Guild has raised more than $4.6 million through the Ballet Ball to support the art of dance.
